Morgan County has thousands of feral or semi-feral cats, struggling to survive. They breed freely, and many litters of kittens are born, only to quickly die. Local animal-lovers try to help the cats that come to their porches and barns, by feeding and providing some shelter. This is a humane action that does improve the lives of the cats that come to them. But soon those cats have reproduced and the situation becomes unmanageable, and the solution--- spay/neuter, becomes unaffordable.

 

MoCo Kitty Kontrol was formed to offer a solution for Morgan County that addresses the root of the problem--- the unchecked breeding which is the cause of the feline overpopulation, and the problems associated with it.

 

MoCo Kitty Kontrol offers financial assistance for feline spay and neuter, and arranges clinics where the surgery is available. While MoCo Kitty Kontrol does not take in or rescue cats, we are certain that in time, with continuing spay/neuter efforts, the population of unwanted cats will decrease. 

MoCo Kitty Kontrol is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

100% of all donations go directly to providing spay/neuter services.
